Vélez Law Group LLC was founded to enforce the civil rights that technology and government have failed to protect. We represent individuals who face discrimination due to disability — in physical spaces, digital platforms, workplaces, and housing.
Our practice spans ADA accessibility enforcement, employment disability discrimination, EEOC advocacy, Fair Housing Act claims, web accessibility for blind and visually impaired users, and Rehabilitation Act access rights. We operate in federal courts, state courts, and federal administrative agencies.

We also maintain a consumer privacy practice focused on California surveillance and data protection statutes. Across each practice, our work is plaintiff-side, evidence-driven, and prepared for meaningful enforcement.

Professional Information
Vélez Law Group LLC is led by Managing Partner José Vélez, with over 15 years of experience in disability rights litigation. The firm is a member of the Disability Rights Bar Association.
We are admitted to practice in the following federal courts: USDC-PR, N.D. Ill., and S.D. Tex. Participation in California federal courts is handled on a case-by-case basis through pro hac vice admission, in collaboration with local counsel. We are licensed in Puerto Rico.
We provide services for individuals 18 and older, or minors with appropriate legal representation. Our attorneys and staff serve clients in English and Spanish. Initial consultations are available for all practice areas.
